To finish Waking up Aldous: groom him, finish breakfast, equip 5 clothing pieces, place both slippers, and complete the story clock. The most common missing condition is one of the 7 clothing requirements.
1. Finish Aldous' Grooming
Complete the face and ear interactions until Aldous' morning dialogue progresses. The grooming chain includes the razor, cloth and ear-related states; doing only the obvious shaving interaction may not be enough.
Related interactions — not each one is frozen as a separate required gate. Use them to see what you have tried.
Aldous' face looks finished but he still talks as if the morning routine is incomplete?
Check the ear and cloth interactions as well. This task tracks several grooming states, not only the razor.
2. Serve Aldous Breakfast
Breakfast begins in the previous task. If you do not have the finished pan yet, return to Preparing Breakfast.

Breakfast complete: Aldous' dialogue advances beyond the feeding sequence.
Where are you stuck?
3. Dress Aldous – 7/7 Checklist
Aldous' clothing check is an aggregate requirement. All five clothing pieces must be on, and both slippers must be placed. Missing even one keeps the morning task from fully progressing.
